Common questions

I forgot my password

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password? and enter your email. We will send you a link to set a new one. The link works for one hour.

I am not getting reminders

Make sure notifications for Vellie are turned on in your phone's Settings, and that reminders are on in Vellie's Settings. Opening Vellie once refreshes your upcoming reminders.

Not getting reminders on Android?

Some Android phones stop apps running in the background to save battery, which can delay or block Vellie's reminders. Letting Vellie run in the background fixes this. Menu names vary a little by phone model and software version.

Samsung

  1. Open Settings > Apps > Vellie > Battery and choose Unrestricted.
  2. Open Settings > Battery > Background usage limits (inside Battery and device care on some models) and make sure Vellie is not listed under Sleeping apps or Deep sleeping apps.

Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO

  1. Open Settings > Apps > Manage apps > Vellie.
  2. Turn on Autostart.
  3. Tap Battery saver and choose No restrictions.

Oppo and Realme

  1. Open Settings > Apps > App management > Vellie.
  2. Tap Battery usage and turn on Allow background activity and Allow auto launch.

Vivo

  1. Open Settings > Battery > Background power consumption management (called High background power consumption on some models) and allow Vellie.
  2. Open Settings > Apps > Autostart (or i Manager > App manager > Autostart) and turn Vellie on.

On any Android phone, also check that Settings > Apps > Vellie > Notifications is on, then open Vellie once so it refreshes your upcoming reminders. To save battery, Android can deliver a reminder a little after its scheduled time, usually within minutes.

How do I turn AI suggestions on or off?

In Vellie, go to Settings and use the AI suggestions switch. When it is off, nothing is sent to our AI provider.

How do I delete my account?

In Vellie, go to Settings and tap Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and everyone you added.
